Provable pTokens identify a token that is provable, portable and pegged. A Provable pToken is a token pegged one-to-one to a non-native cryptocurrency, whose issue and redeem is handled by the pTokens technology. For example, a pToken on Ethereum is an Ethereum ERC-20 token pegged one-to-one to a non-Ethereum based cryptocurrency. For demonstration purposes in this paper, the host blockchain used will be Ethereum and the non-Ethereum cryptocurrency used will be EOS.
