Introduction Tranquil Staked ONE (STONE)

Tranquil Staked ONE is a multiprimitive DeFi super app for the Harmony blockchain. It is the first DeFi protocol developed as part of the Defira metaverse, adding a GameFi layer to Tranquil’s DeFi features. The protocol supports three major DeFi primitives: DEX, lending, and liquid staking. Tranquil Swap is newest Uniswap-based constant product DEX primitive, allowing users to trade tokens permissionlessly. This feature is available through the Defira frontend and game, and are in the process of migrating Tranquil Finance’s other primitives into the Defira frontend.

Tranquil Staked ONE Lending is a money market allows users to supply and borrow assets, while receiving or paying interest in a completely permission less and decentralized way. Borrowing and lending interest is set based on market demand, and loans are over-collateralized to ensure solvency. The smart contracts are forked from Compound, and the core Comptroller and market contracts have been audited by CertiK.

We will not commit to a hard emission curve but instead philosophy is to carefully balance the expansion of the token supply with the incentive rewards for attracting liquidity and users. The xTRANQ public sale is an example of this philosophy in action. Based on the experiences of incentive programs from other protocols, rewards are often farmed and dumped by huge funds who often have no interest in the long term interest of the project itself. They expect the allocation for incentive rewards to last at least 4 years.

Users stake their ONE token with the LiquidStaking smart contract and receive stONE tokens as receipt, representing their staking deposit. The trusted relay node listens to these events and delegates the deposited ONE tokens to a whitelisted validator.

The stONE token represents a share of the total amount of ONEs under control of the protocol. The trusted relay node will collect and compound rewards periodically, which will increase the total ONEs under its control. This will update the exchangeRate, which determines the value of ONE to stONE.

Currently, there is no way to send staking transactions through the EVM. Therefore, Tranquil stone is designed as a trusted solution, similar to Lido, using trusted relay nodes that listens to on chain messages and send the required staking transactions.
