About RainSPIRIT

Unlike any other winSPIRIT fork, SPIRIT holders receive both the revenue from SpiritSwap’s protocol AND collect bribes as if they had voted for themselves. This means that SPIRIT is able to offer its holders some of the highest APRs of all the winSPIRIT tokens. Each week, rain holders simply decide which rewards they would like to receive and consequently place their SPIRIT in the corresponding location.

Ola Finance uses the SPIRIT emissions allocated to inSPIRIT holders each week to purchase SPIRIT and distribute them to users in the Staking Pool. As some users prefer the bribe pools, those who remain in the staking pool will effectively receive a larger portion of the distributed rewards, thus increasing their APR. The staking pool runs continously.

Each week, bribe pools will be listed according to the bribes collected in the previous week. Ola determines the weekly pools and their distribution rate to ensure strong, consistent emissions. Rewards distribution for new bribe pools begins each week on Sunday at 9:00 UTC and lasts for 7 days. At the end of the reward distribution period, bribe pools are refilled or expire. Package Pricing

While the exact price per package is based on the demand for voting power each week, prices typically fall around the market value of the distributed SPIRIT. For example, if 1M votes earns a pool $1000 worth of SPIRIT emissions, the bribe pricing for that 1M votes will likely be similar. In addition to the transparent pricing, these costs are significantly lower for many projects than the costs they pay in the public bribes offered to inSPIRIT holders.

Building a Lending Network

A lending network is a collection of money markets (MM) with a Comptroller contract that acts as the “brain”. MMs do not communicate with one another directly and are not aware of each other’s state. This communication is facilitated by the comptroller, who “knows” everything and approves all actions that a MM performs. MMs cannot give out loans, have users withdraw collateral, or have liquidators liquidate a position without getting the comptroller’s approval.
