About Unbit
It also provides proxies and load-balancers for the entire infrastructure, as well as the monitoring functions now required in every network application. Unbit’s flagship product, it offers a solid and extremely configurable environment even in distributed solutions. uWSGI is an OpenSource product (GPL2 license). If you are interested in commercial support (or purchasing licenses) please visit Unbit. The uwsgi.it project is your hosting platform created specifically for new generation applications based on Python, Perl, Ruby, Lua, Go, Node, Java, Erlang …It is based on uWSGI (obviously) and completely opensource.
The configuration is done through a simple HTTP / REST api (for which an HTML5 fronted is available on https://uwsgi.it and wrappers for various languages)It is independent from the datacenter, so you can create high reliability or disaster recovery systems with a few lines of configuration. When you activate a uwsgi.it container you can choose in which datacenter to activate it among those available listed on the price list (just communicate it to the staff).
You can decide to buy a single container or even one or more servers and allocate the containers on them independently (defining the resources through the HTTP / REST api). If you already have hardware or dedicated servers (even on the cloud), you can delegate their management to your staff who will configure your systems as nodes of your uwsgi.it infrastructure. Each container automatically monitors its use of resources (storage, memory, cpu …) and can send alarms through different channels, such as jabber / xmpp or pushover, pushbullet and slack services.
