What Is Juno 8 Track
Juno 8 Track is a global, open source, permission-less network for decentralized interoperable applications. Anyone can create & use inter-chain applications on Juno. The ecosystem is pioneering CosmWasm development and adoption, allowing developers to deploy secure & robust inter-chain smart contracts in Rust.
The Juno proof of stake blockchain is built using the Cosmos SDK and reaches network agreement via Tendermint Consensus. The network is governed by delegators, who vote in changes via on-chain governance. All network processes are fueled by $JUNO the native asset of the network. Juno had its decentralized network launch on the 1st of October 2021. CosmWasm Smart Contracts went live on December 15th 2021.

Hacks and Bounties
The Moneta Hacks are the largest incentivised smart contract challenges in the world. Developers from across the world may deploy smart contracts onto the permission-less interoperable smart contract base layer called Junø.
AMM/DEX, Lending/Borrowing, Derivatives/Super Fluid Staking etc.
Metaverse – Creation of digital worlds, games and gamification.
Non Fungible Tokens

Interoperable Smart Contracts
Simple, secure and fast virtual machine set up to sandbox or partition your application’s actions for better testing, security, performance and speed.
Utilizing the Cosmos SDK & Tendermint Consensus to ensure high throughput and fast contract execution.
Low cost deployment up to 35000 times cheaper than gen 2 blockchain networks.
Deployment on Juno 8 Track and interoperable with all networks in the cosmos ecosystem via IBC.
Code & deploy your contracts in multiple languages via the powerful CosmWasm Contract framework.
Junø is a proof-of-stake blockchain which allows users to stake their funds, as staking rewards are distributed to stakers every block. At any time, stakers can claim their accumulated rewards via their wallet.
- Secure the Network
- Earn Staking Rewards
- Govern the Network
Juno 8 Track is a completely community owned and operated smart contract platform. The majority of the genesis supply was stakedropped to atom holders, committed to the locked community pool, and allocated to the vested development reserve & smart contract Hacks.
- No seed sale, no private sale, no public sale
- Fairdrop / Stakedrop Genesis launch
- Whalecap at 50k ATOM per address
- Genesis supply to 46.000 unique atom stakers
- Exchange validator exclusion
- Exchange delegator exclusion
The native network incentive structures is pre-set in the Juno Protocol at genesis but subject to change based on the flexible evolution of the economy. All changes to the structure can be voted in or out by Juno delegators and validators. Not only does the native asset secure the network but gives onchain governance voting rights. Incentives follow a pre-set game-theory model that has been crafted to strongly incentivize early adopters and gradually decreases as fees generated by p2p transactions and usage of decentralized applications on Juno make up for the decrease over time. These protocol-based rewards are distributed across the active delegated stake/validator set. More structural details can be found in the incentive structure tab (Below the economic overview).
Juno 8 Track Conclusion
In conclusion, Juno 8 Track , with its worldwide, open source, permission-less network, heralds a new era of decentralised applications. It provides a distinctive platform for developers to create interoperable applications that may communicate with one another in an efficient and linked ecosystem. Juno has the ability to transform how we engage with decentralised applications by utilising the strength of blockchain technology and community-driven innovation. Juno is positioned to take the top position in the decentralised application landscape thanks to its emphasis on decentralisation and openness.
Juno 8 Track FAQ
What is Juno?
Juno is a global, open source, permission-less network for decentralized interoperable applications.
What is the purpose of Juno?
The purpose of Juno is to provide a platform for developers to build decentralized applications that can communicate with each other seamlessly.
What makes Juno different from other blockchain platforms?
Juno is unique in its focus on interoperability, allowing different decentralized applications to communicate with each other. It is also permission-less, meaning that anyone can participate in the network without requiring permission from a central authority.
How does Juno ensure the security of its network?
Juno leverages the power of blockchain technology to ensure the security of its network. Transactions are recorded on a distributed ledger, making it extremely difficult for any single party to manipulate the data.
Who can participate in the Juno network?
Anyone can participate in the Juno network, as it is permission-less. This means that there are no restrictions on who can join and contribute to the network.
