To file a DMCA notice, email support@wootfi.com with your physical/electronic signature, identification of the copyrighted work, the URL of the infringing material on our site, your contact information, and statements confirming your good faith belief and accuracy under penalty of perjury.
What happens after Wootfi receives a valid DMCA notice?
Once a valid notice is received, we will review it and typically remove or restrict access to the allegedly infringing material within 5 business days. We will also make a good-faith effort to contact the affected user with instructions on how to file a counter-notification.
What should I do if my content was removed by mistake?
If your content was removed due to a mistake or misidentification, you can file a counter-notification. It must include your signature, identification of the removed material, your contact information, and a statement under penalty of perjury consenting to federal court jurisdiction.
Does Wootfi terminate accounts for repeat infringers?
Yes. In appropriate circumstances, and at our sole discretion, we will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers, defined as those subject to more than one valid, uncontested DMCA notification.
