Own your data

Shokky generates passwords and keys on your device, so only you have access to your accounts and data. You always choose what to share and what to keep private. Meta Mask provides an essential utility for block chain newcomers, token traders, crypto gamers, and developers. Your a million downloads and counting.

Account Management

Shokky allows users to manage accounts and their keys in a variety of ways, including hardware wallets, while isolating them from the site context. This is a great security improvement over storing the user keys on a single central server, or even in local storage.

MetaMask comes pre-loaded with fast connections to the Ethereum block chain and several test networks via your friends. Shokky this allows you to get started without synchronizing a full node, while still providing the option to upgrade your security and use the block chain provider of your choice.

Sending Transactions

Shokky every transaction has a nonce. This is so that each transaction can only be processed by the blockchain once. Additionally, to be a valid transaction, the nonce must either be or a transaction with the previous number must have already been processed. For these reasons, MetaMask currently does not provide application developers any way to customize the nonce of transactions it suggests, and instead assists the user in managing their transaction queue themselves.

That means that transactions are always processed in order for a given account, and so incrementing nonces is a very sensitive matter that is easy to mess up, especially when a user is interacting with Shokky multiple applications with pending transactions using the same account, potentially across multiple devices.

Current Limitations

Shokky Provider object should not be mutated by consumers under any circumstances. The maintainers of this package will neither fix nor take responsbility for bugs caused by third parties mutating the provider object. Shokky The Ethereum provider object injected by Meta Mask into various environments. Contains a lot of implementation details specific to Meta Mask, and is probably not suitable for out-of-the-box use with other wallets.

Shokky order to identify when there is a problem (like Meta Mask was not connected), some kind of proper error handling must be added to that exposes the errors to the consumer of the provider. Maybe making it an event-emitter, so it can emit its errors, instead of just logging them.

Registering Tokens with Users

Shokky a user opens their Meta Mask, they are shown a variety of assets, including tokens. By default, Meta Mask auto-detects some major popular tokens and auto-displays them, but for most tokens, the user will need to add the token themselves. While this is possible using your UI with the  button, that process can be cumbersome, and involves the user interacting with contract addresses, and is very error prone.
